Focus of activity

Maria Riffat is intensively developing an informed spatial planning and governance system by using dashboards technology in landscape and environmental planning to strengthen decision making process at early planning process stages for a sustainable spatial development. Other major activities include assistance in teaching graduate and undergraduate courses to the students of Geography at the chair pf environmental analysis and planning in metropolitan regions. She has responsibilities of managing the Chair’s website tasks with the experience of managing her personal web-based educational platform i.e. on geographic information systems (GIS) and building information modelling (BIM) technologies.
